ONE MONTH UNTIL REVENGE OF THE SITH!

That's right, ladies and gents, thirty days from today, the final installment of the Star Wars saga will hit theaters near you. And it will hit them with the Force, because it is just that cool.

Speaking of which, the Force is with me today. Really, really with me. I got a $50 gift card to Wal-Mart for doing a survey, and the official SW site updated with lots of cool stuff. New trailers, for e.g. The last batch of trailers was better, and Tragedy is still the best ("The Jedi turned against me. Don't you turn against me!" "Anakin, you're breaking my heart!"). These however, were decently cool. They were targeted for that young audience that George doesn't want to see the movie because they will be disturbed and traumatized and that's why it's going to be PG-13, but who can still buy the merchandise. You know, like the Padme Action Mommy figure (which makes me go "ha!"). The ads are all, "The Jedi are preparing for their greatest battle!" And I'm all, "Yeah, and they're going to LOSE!" Obi-Wan says "I have a bad feeling about this!" which isn't fair because he got to say it in Episode I. I can only hope that it will be said more than once (in the OT it was usually twice per movie) so that Padmé can say it, because she deserves it. It's her turn. And, I swear to God, Mace Windu says, "I sense a plot to destroy the Jedi." To which EVERYONE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD replies, "No shit, Mace!" And by "the entire world," I clearly do not mean the Star Wars world, because they are ridiculously unobservant over there. ("What?! Senator Amidala is pregnant?!" Okay, that's not a line... but it may as well be. Actually, it may be. I don't know. I still haven't read the novel! Rock some more!)

Anyway, on the OS, a screen always comes up when you head over that is an Episode III promo with one of the characters. And three times in a row, THREE TIMES in a ROW, I have guessed the character who was going to pop up correctly! The Force. I'm tellin' ya.

Well, Celebration is nearly here, and I'm very excited!

And there's a new Gilmore Girls tonight, and I'm very excited!

And I painted my thumbnails white today with white nail polish I bought to paint my thumbnails white when there was one month until Episode III, which is today. Because, according to the TPM Visual Dictionary, "white thumbnail polish is the only tradition Amidala retains from her native village."

And, to reiterate the purpose of this post: ONE MORE MONTH!
