And here I am!
Aug. 28th, 2004 02:22 pmEveryone, meet Yané, my new computer and handmaiden. In case you were wondering, I bought her with my own money that I got for graduation. She is very excited to finally be in use.
I'm at Hanover now, and everything is going fine. I've taken German and math placement tests (ah-buh, is all I have to say), and am mostly moved into my dorm now. It's very pretty. And I have lots and lots of shelves! It's spectacular! The worst part about being here is that the dorm is not air conditioned and it's SO DAMN HOT! Yesterday was the hottest day of the year, and everyone was so sweaty and gross at the end of it. I'm sitting way far back from my desk right now so that I'm right in front of a fan. My roommate, Katy, is nice, and she's gone a lot with people she knows and at soccer practice.
I don't have much else to say just now, just a little progress update. Oh! And there's finally a new fanfic for me to read that's worth reading! It's all good here!
